FAQs
Have questions? You're not alone. Here are answers to some of the most common questions clients ask about therapy, services, and what to expect.
What types of therapy do you offer?
Andrews Gregory Counseling provides individual, couples, and family therapy using collaborative, systemic approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and attachment-focused methods. EMDR therapy is also available to support trauma recovery.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. Therapy services are offered both in-person and online to meet your preferences and scheduling needs.
What are your therapy rates?
Individual Therapy: $175 per session
Couples/Family Therapy: $250 per session
Do you accept insurance?
I do not bill insurance directly but am happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. We offer Mentaya's services to help you check your out-of-network benefits and assist you in filing claims if you qualify.
What is a superbill?
A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes service codes and provider information needed for you to request out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance provider.
How do I know if I need individual or couples/family therapy?
If your concerns are mainly about your personal experiences or inner life, individual therapy may be the best fit. If you’re experiencing relational struggles with a partner or family member, couples or family therapy may be more appropriate. We can discuss this in your initial consultation.
What happens in a supersession?
Supersessions are extended 3.5-hour therapy sessions designed for families who want to focus intensively on one issue. This format allows for deeper exploration and more time for communication, problem-solving, and reflection.
What are SAP evaluations?
SAP (Substance Abuse Professional) evaluations are required by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for drivers and safety-sensitive employees returning to duty after a substance-related violation. I provide compliant SAP evaluations and follow-up recommendations to support your return-to-duty process.
